Kick-off Introduction

January 4th, 2020 at 09:51 pm

First-time blogger, but frequent commenter! I feel like I know many of you already.

After a few suggestions by CCF, I'm starting this blog to share and to capture my activities.

Hopefully I've set this up properly. After numerous attempts to change the blog settings, I gave up. The changes just don't 'take' when I update. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but perhaps I'll correct it later.

Happy new year to all!

Yay!! Nice to see you. The blogs are definitely not perfect. I suggest at a minimum to copy your entry before you submit. That way if it doesn't post, you still have what you wrote. Sometimes it seems to timeout if it takes too long to write a post. I was a bit worried when I started years ago, but I'm so glad I did. It's been a great reference and helpful for keeping to our goals.

Hello and welcome. Looking forward to reading more about your goals. Smile
When I am writing blog posts, I "save as draft" every paragraph or so. Then you can continue writing. Losing an entry entirely is frustrating!

When I write an entry, I always copy it before submitting. If it doesn't submit, I can just paste it and try again -- and the second time always works, because the process is fast.

When updating your sidebar, you have to copy your new version and paste it over the old one, then update, or it won't take. Or make the changes twice; that works, too.

Welcome! Since you are a frequent commenter, I wonder who you are! Smile
